Reporting from the home office of the GG Possums.

The GG Possums easily defeated the Blumpkins for their first victory of what has so far been a disappointing Winter 2008 season.  With this victory the Possums are now 1-2.  Defense was the word tonight as the Possums were solid throughout the first 5 innings giving up only 4 runs till the top of the 6th.  Top performers were Bobby Perez and Axel Calles as they went 4 for 4 and 4 for 5 respectively.  24 runs scored as everyone on the team scored at least one run for the 24-9 victory.
